Ketut Sukatra

Sukatra’s yoga teaching journey started five years ago at Bagus Jati.  Learning from his Balinese teacher, Ibu Wendri and his cultural studies of the Vedanta, his lessons combine a fine mix of philosophy, physiology and fun.  His lesson plans are perfect for beginners and intermediate students and his passion and enthusiasm for the essence of yoga, that of quieting the mind, has lead him to hold monthly meditation workshops at the resort.  He is much sought after in the yoga world and has been offered jobs in the Maldives, Dubai and the UK.  Luckily for Bagus Jati and Bali, his love for his family and country guarantees he’s here to stay!

Wayan Gina

Wayan has been assisting Sukatra for 4 years and teaching now since 2005.  His gentle teaching manner mixed with his superb ability of yoga asana allows students to learn and be inspired in a safe environment.  His lively routines and brightly executed sun salutations are the perfect way to start any morning.  His classes are always accompanied by beautiful music and savasana is enjoyed in silence with only the soothing natural sounds of the nearby waterfall and jungle wildlife for company.

Aimee

Aimee Hartley

Aimee joined the Bagus Jati yoga scene in February 2009.   A qualified yoga teacher both in the UK and Australia, her Hatha yoga teacher training and her love of Ayurveda sees her teaching style move with the seasons.  She has taught in Cornwall, London and Sydney and now combines her two loves, teaching yoga in Bali and offers guests private yoga consultations to help develop their own self practice. Combining the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda and yoga asana, meditation and pranayama, guests can enjoy a tailor made yoga programs suitable for their needs.
